2021 Registration

Welcome to the BMBA 2021 Registration

Registration for the 2021 Season opens February 1st. Stay tuned to this page, our twitter, and facebook pages for registration information!

Due to the uncertainty of what the season will entail this years  registration will not have any initial fees associated with it. All fees will be determined once we have a better handle on the length and scope of the season. We encourage everyone to register as soon as possible as there will be registration caps at most levels.

If you experience any issues with registration please email registrar@beaumontminorball.com

BMBA is determined that we will have a 2021 season. We are preparing for a number of different scenarios and we will continue to work together with the City of Beaumont and Baseball Alberta to determine exactly what the season will look like.

At this point there are 3 possible scenarios for the 2021 Season (as per Baseball Alberta):

- Similar to 2020 season

-Cohort application would be in place

-Cohort limit of 50  (subject to change)

-Cohort limit does not include coaches / officials  / staff (further AHS requirements apply to these individuals)

-Cohort limit of 50 (subject to change)

Teams will be placed in cohorts for set number of play weekends

-Following each SET of play weekends , teams will have a 2 week break where they will be limited to activities strictly within their team

-Newly formed cohorts will continue following the 2 week break

-Similar to 2019 season
-Schedules would be created with teams having the ability to play each other without cohort restrictions

-Potential to attend Post- Provincial Championships  (dependant on Baseball Canada)

Please visit Baseball Alberta website here for further insight into these scenarios and other info from the most recent AGM.

Please keep in mind that we are continuing to follow the direction of Baseball Alberta and the City of Beaumont under the guidance of Alberta Health Services. This means although this is our initial plan, it is subject to change.

Our goal moving forward is to ensure our players will not lose an entire year of development and will have the opportunity to get outside and continue to play the game that they love, though perhaps a little differently.

We will definitely need to lean on our membership in a volunteer capacity to help us with coaching, managing, and covering off on safety related duties that we will be required to do. Leading by example for our kids and following all related safety protocols will be everyone’s responsibility.

Blackgold Competitive Program

After much deliberation and consultation BMBA and LMBA have agreed to combine their competitive programs. Extensive details will be provided soon, but please note this means there will be practices and games in both Beaumont and Leduc. If you are intending to register for a competitive level, please register as normal through our website. Please note that an additional fee will be charged prior to beginning evaluations.

Please follow this link to the BMBA site to register for Black Gold 47's AA Evaluations.

Girls Baseball Program

After interest was shown last year at our 9U level, BMBA is in the process of developing a Girls Baseball Program. Our ultimate goal is to run an all-girls team for as many ages groups as we can. More information will be provided in the coming days, but to help ensure the success of this program please spread the word about this exciting new opportunity. Visit our Girls Baseball page for more information.
