What ages are eligible to play?

Children born in 2018 & 2019

What is the difference between 7U and 7U+?

7U programming will run 2 nights per week.  7U+ programming will run 3 nights per week and is designed for kids wanting a little more.

When are the nights of play?

7U will play Monday & Wednesday.  7U+ will play Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

What does the season look like?

The program is focused on the children beginning to understand the fundamentals of baseball, learning the game and having fun. 

Practice is very important within this age group and it is important they begin to understand good practice habits as they develop their skills.

Each team will play 2 mini games (1 inning each, 20 minutes/game) and have a 20 minute practice. 

Participation in 7U Jamboree (dates TBD)

Season ends with the school season

Do the kids pitch?

Rally Cap will focus on coach pitch, specifically for the older children in preparation for Rookie ball.

Can the kids use a 'Tee'?

A ‘Tee’ will be used within games, and as the season goes on it will be the coaches discretion on whether or not his/her players are ready for coach pitch. 

It is likely that the younger children will require the use of the ‘Tee’
