What does the season look like?
The game play starts in the first week in May, practices may begin in late April depending on the condition of the fields. The exception to this would be if you decide to play “A” Ball, in that case playing would continue until the 3rdweek of July.

How far do we have to travel for games?
Beaumont is part of the ERRBL. Away games may include up to approximately 75km of travel to places like Thorsby or Legal but most of the games are within the greater Edmonton area.
What options does my daughter have in relation to playing baseball?
Beaumont Minor Ball may offer an all girls team at the U15 level and girls are welcome to play on the ERRBL teams.
What is the difference between house ball and “A” Ball?
“A” Ball is played in the YEGA league, which in previous years has been made up of teams from the Edmonton and Surrounding Area. The 'A' team will usually attend provincials as well, but it is not required.
If you are interested in playing ‘A’ ball after the regular season, there are an additional 10 games and travel may be to anywhere in Alberta depending on which communities register a team. Baseball Alberta will usually group teams to minimize travel during 2 weekends of round robin play followed by the provincial championship weekend. The ‘A’ team games will be played over the 1st three weekends in July with the final game being played on the 3rd weekend of July.
‘A’ ball is considered more competitive and there may be tryouts depending on the number of players interested. Game results and standings are tracked by Baseball Alberta and there is a provincial championship team at the end of the season.
